Thank you for your participation. Today I'd like to ask you some questions about your dietary habits. When you have a meal at school or work, do you prefer to eat alone? Or do you like to eat with friends or coworkers? Why?

At school or work, I usually prefer eating with friends. A meal is a good chance to relax and talk after concentrating for a long time. However, if I am very busy or tired, eating alone can be peaceful because I do not have to make conversation. Eating with others turns a routine meal into social recovery, especially in the middle of a demanding day.

My family generally prefers home-cooked meals, especially dishes with vegetables, rice, and soup. Fast food is convenient, but it does not feel as satisfying. A traditional meal feels warmer because it is connected to family habits and the taste we grew up with. Home-cooked food carries emotional familiarity, which fast food rarely provides even when it is convenient.

I think more people will try plant-based diets in the future, but not everyone will become fully vegetarian. People are more aware of health and environmental issues now. If plant-based food becomes cheaper and tastier, it will attract many people who are not ready to give up meat completely. Plant-based diets will spread when they become socially normal and practically satisfying.
